A Blessing for the New Year

A Year of Napping for Us All!

Tonight begins the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah (and Shabbos), when we mark a new year on the Jewish calendar. All of us here at TND wish our readers a year of sweetness, joy, blessings, and of course, delightful naps.

In honor of this special occasion, I wrote a little blessing for all of us nappers to mark the New Year 5784:

May our slumbers be sweet,
and our naps be plentiful.
May our flexes be abound
and our afternoon naps peaceful.
May we enjoy 15s, 30s, 45s, 60s,
and even a few daytime sleeps.
May we nap like celebrities,
athletes, and famous rock stars.
May we nap when we travel,
May we nap in our homes.
May we nap under our desks,
and with our feet in the sand.
May we nap in parking lots,
parks, and everywhere in between.
May TND always inspire,
with new ideas and thoughts.
May our TND community grow,
uniting nappers in common cause.
May we nap divine,
and the divine bless us always.
May 5784 bring blessing,
joy, sweetness, and delightful naps always.
