It makes me extremely verklempt to introduce today’s featured guest: none other than Hen’s eldest son, the Eldest! First things first, congrats on making the hockey team for the defending champion Storm! You know that means a lot coming from Uncle Nermal, given my limited appreciation for sports — but I’d come to watch one of your games any time!
OK, so despite (and perhaps as evidenced by) my good-natured needling, I love Hen’s family like my own and am proud that today officially brings three generations of Henriettas (the Eldest, Hen, and The President) to TND — a gezunt af dein kopf to all of you!
Not everyone can nap at the same time every day. I usually nap in the afternoons, at times like 1:30, 2:45, 4:30.
This summer, I went to a hockey camp for 5 days and 4 nights in Pennsylvania. The camp is called Camp Dovid. It is all hockey, all the time.
Naps are about recharging and getting a new burst of energy. At this camp, you need energy to be able to handle playing hockey 3 times a day - morning, 12 pm or later and late night. Sometimes, you play hockey as late as 11:30 pm. One of the nights, I had a playoff game at 11:30 pm, I went in for a nap at 8:15pm. That was the first time I had napped that late.
I’ve had different experiences napping at different places. I’ve napped on bus rides, in cars, on basketball court sidelines, on pool chairs and even once at a movie theater. You won’t always have a comfortable place to nap at. The moral of the story is napping requires flexibility and the ability to be comfortable without having to be at home all the time.
